CaringWorks Annual Impact Report 2023
I am pleased to share the remarkable achievements and impact CaringWorks has made on our community in 2023.
The 2023 Impact Report is a testament to the incredible strides we have made together in our mission to combat homelessness and empower individuals and families in the Atlanta community through permanent housing and supportive services.
Over the past year, CaringWorks was able to impact the lives of 913 individuals. We remained dedicated to providing comprehensive housing solutions and support services to those in need. One of our proudest achievements highlighted in this report is that we have ended homelessness for more than 94% of those we’ve worked with!
Moreover, our innovative Deaf Bridges to Recovery program continues to break barriers by providing essential support to homeless individuals within the Deaf community. This unique initiative has empowered participants to overcome challenges, find sobriety, and develop crucial life skills for independent living.
Our Behavioral Health Services have also been instrumental in improving the well-being of our clients. Through personalized psychiatric care, individual and group therapy, and addiction treatment, we continue to witness remarkable transformations and a reduction in the need for crisis interventions.
As we move into the coming year, we eagerly anticipate expanding our reach to serve more individuals, while growing our capacity to enhance the health, well-being, and self-sufficiency of our clients. To effectively meet the growing demand for our services, we are steadfast in our commitment to fortify organizational leadership and refine our operational framework. This ensures that we can responsibly manage the increasing need for support while maintaining the quality and impact of our programs.
The impact of our program goes beyond our walls and buildings. Directly impacted by our program are single custodial mothers with a documented disability, deaf or hard of hearing men, Veterans, individuals with co-occurring homelessness/addiction/
